Art groups - Goldfish Factory
Self-publishing of manga is one of the biggest fan activities in Japan, but the phenomenon has also taken root in the west. Goldfish Factory is proud to be the first group of its kind in Holland.

We are a team of enthusiastic anime, manga and game lovers who express their fondness for these media through their own works. By using existing and original characters and our own original ones, we want to give a fresh spin to the stuff that we love and create something of our own as well. Take a look on our website to see what we're up to ^^!

The idea came into being during an 2001 artist meeting in, what else, a MacDonalds restaurant. This was the very first beginning of a long range of different and pretty douijnshi’s.

Now a few years further where still publishing little douijn’s. Our team counts 10 persons and 8 of them are just like me, amateur manga-ka’s. All with their own beautiful style and story’s. But we wouldn’t get anywhere with out the other 2 people who do the planning, promotion (with help from the us all offcourse) and finance.

As for me I’m an amateur manga-ka but I’m also active as a planner and calculator in the group. I like to think about different kind of Merchandise and how it is possible for use to manufacture them against a low budget. Goldfish Factory is a non-profit Douijn group, meaning we don’t get paid for our work or anything we make (I do sometimes sell Original art, and that money stay’s with me).We all put a lot off effort and money in it our self’s and we try to keep it circulating with in our products.

If you would like to see some of our work or support us, please visit our website.
